    Description

    Embryo extract is extracted from chicken embryos at 9-12 days old and is used as a growth factor supplement in tissue culture.
    Chicken embryo extract is a high quality protein with high protein content and amino acid pattern consistent with that of human body. It is rich in mineral elements and vitamins and has high nutritional value. Its K, Fe, Se mineral elements and vitamin A, D, B2 content is also high. This allows it not only to supplement these nutrients, but also, perhaps, to have some health benefits. It has been proved that chicken embryo extract can effectively improve the selenium malnutrition state of mice, increase the activity of GPX and remove the peroxide product MDA in low selenium mice. Some literatures have suggested that chicken embryo extract also has the function of regulating blood lipid.
    The product is prepared through sterile filtration (0.2μm) and is provided in 10 ml freeze-dried vials. Please note that the freeze-dried product does not guarantee sterility and should be re-filtered through a sterile disposable filter after reconstruction.
    The product is prepared in conformance with cGMP.
    The proprietary process utilises 9-12 day eggs collected from registered flocks and found to be free from clinical signs of notifiable diseases.
    It is processed as a 50% W/V extract in Dulbecco's Phosphate Buffered Saline. 100IU/ mL Penicillin, Streptomycin 100μg/ml and Amphotericin 2.5μg/ml are added as an additional safeguard.
    Statistical samples representative of the batch are tested in agreement with cGLP to validate the product as being consistent with the designed quality standards of reliability and stability.

    The product is intended for in-vitro cell culture only.
    Application
    Directions for Use
    Reconstitute lyophilized product to 10ml using sterile water. Agitate to mix or use an orbital shaker set to 150 rpm and mix for 30 minutes.
    It is advised that lyophilized product is filtered to 0.2um after reconstitution to maintain sterility. For best filtering results, use a pre-filter then 0.45um and finish with 0.2um filter.
